I’m not sure I can do this any more, this blogging thing. I just don’t know if I have anything left to say! Once in a while something comes up that I think deserves a blog post, but I don’t know if it’s often enough to keep this place going.
So I’m considering letting go of this space for now since it’s becoming such a bleak and quiet place instead of the hive of activity it once was. This is through no fault of anybody – people are always going to run out of things to say when my posts are so few and far between!
So what do you think? Does anybody still read and visit here to even reply?

Still here, waiting for your next post. ;^)
…whenever that will be, I should say. I subscribed to the feed: lovely thing about RSS is that I don’t have to schedule a visit; stuff just pops into my reader whenever it’s published, so I don’t have to miss anything.
I’m still here, too.
As am I. Write when you feel you want to say something. Don’t get stressed about not writing.
I’m glad others said what I intended to, which is that with RSS subscription readers like Google Reader, one can lapse for a while and then make a successful comeback. Of course, there may be people out there who tidy up and eliminate subscriptions that are no longer active. But I’m guessing most people will just leave it and forget – until a post appears and reminds us, as this one did today.
I’m here too. I was thinking the same exact thing about my own blog today. But, I’m going to stick it out, hoping the flood will return eventually.
Don’t disappear just because you haven’t been writing.
I hope both you and Erin let your blogs lapse into fallow fields if that’s what the cycle is. I agree with the others that there is no compulsion for you to write to keep your followers following. When you pop up in my reader once more, I shall come and visit you once more
Aw, thanks to everybody. I wrote this post earlier thinking “hey, nobody will probably even be around to reply – why am I bothering asking questions?”
I underestimated you all
Thank you.
Heather – I mainly read and don’t comment… but I read every one! As a worship leader, I have appreciated your heartfelt comments on worship especially. I hope you will continue to blog, even if only sporadically.
In God’s grace,

Still reading! just write when you want to. Something is changing in our little circle of blogdom and I’m not sure what it is yet. I’m keeping mine open till I figure out what that is maybe.
I’m still around as well Heather and I always look forward to what you have to say…even if I have to wait for it!!
I stopped writing in mine for awhile and I am like you in that I don’t have much to say. I think that I got out of the habit of writing and now it’s difficult to get back to it; although I want to.
Hi, Heather! I’m still reading too.
and have been in somewhat the same boat. but it doesn’t *quite* feel like it’s time to close the doors yet. so yay for Google Reader!
Just write when you believe you have something to say…even if the duration between posts is months instead of days.
Another “yay!” for Google Reader.
I’m around, too, Heather. Hope you stay open and don’t close off the possibilities of this space. We’ll be here.
Sounds like it’s unanimous then – I will continue to leave the blog open and write when I feel like it, and try not to feel to guilty about that. Promise I won’t try to fill up space with a bunch of fluff posts that have no real content
I still read your blog too, via the RSS feed. I’m glad you’re not gettign rid of it – there’s nothign wrong with leaving it alone for a while until you have something to say. That’s why I haven’t deleted my own blog; sooner or later I’ll have somethign worth writing and I’ll wish I had my blog to post it to, so it’s still there, just mothballed for now.
This is a common theme on many of the blogs I visit. Very interesting that so many of us find ourselves in this spot. Do you find that you’ve run out of things to say, or is it more that your time is at more of a premium? I mostly posted fluff anyway, but I’m finding that my mind has “moved” on and that I just don’t have the TIME to invest in blogdom now. Anyway, glad you’re still here (I also keep up with you through feed) and am always glad to read your thoughts!
Barry, I’m sure you will find something to say soon.
SG, I could make time if I wanted to – I think my thoughts just seems to be in a different place at the moment. I don’t know why. Not that my thoughts are about different things – I just don’t feel the need so much to write them down, I guess. It’s very hard to explain!
Heather-
I still check in too and have the same thoughts on my own site. I have a few notes made but I get busy and forget and realize it’s been yet another full month since I’ve even thought about it. Whew..
All of that to say — I’m still here and I kind of accepted that whenever we all DO have something to say, we’ll reconnect. No worries…
I’m still reading, too.
Heather, I don’t post very often anymore, either. It’s okay. I still check from time to time to see what you’re up too.
it’s the ebb and flow with things, but I don’t think you should give it up entirely. I check back now and again here.
If you’re dormant over 6 months that’s a bit different than letting days or weeks lapse in between posts. So, I read when I can, post when I can; and vary the topics according inspiration and moods.
